What you will be responsible for

  • Take ownership of the roadmap for your product area and keep refining it as customer insight, product data, and market trends evolve.
  • Shape product direction so it supports Diligent’s wider vision for modern governance and ties planned work to clear customer and business outcomes.
  • Represent the customer throughout the product process by leading discovery, testing assumptions about problems and solutions, and turning findings into user stories and product requirements.
  • Lead an agile, cross-functional squad that includes engineering, UX, product marketing, sales, and customer success so the team can design, build, and launch high-quality SaaS functionality.
  • Define goals, KPIs, and other success measures for your product, then monitor performance and user engagement and use what you learn to improve future iterations.
  • Handle complex product and delivery challenges by simplifying ambiguous problems, weighing trade-offs, and making clear decisions grounded in evidence and data.
  • Manage the product backlog and make prioritisation calls about what should be built next.
  • Launch features that drive stronger engagement, higher adoption, and measurable value for customers using the Diligent Platform.

What you need to bring

  • Strong experience as a Product Manager building and shipping SaaS products, with a record of defining and launching successful features or products.
  • Practical experience working in agile product teams across functions, including backlog management and writing user stories.
  • Confidence leading customer discovery and validation conversations and turning both qualitative and quantitative insight into product decisions.
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders even when you do not have direct authority.
  • A data-led approach, with comfort using metrics, experimentation, and basic quantitative reasoning to set goals, assess impact, and troubleshoot product issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex ideas in a simple way to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A strong sense of ownership and action, with willingness to get hands-on, make trade-offs, and carry work from problem definition through launch and iteration.

Experience that would be an advantage

  • Background in governance, risk, compliance, security, fintech, or other enterprise B2B environments.
  • Exposure to large, multi-product platforms or secure communication and collaboration products.
  • Experience mentoring other product managers or contributing as a high-standard reviewer who raises the quality of product decisions.
