What you will do

• Take responsibility for IP verification work across the automotive division, owning verification topics for next-generation designs.
• Build a verification plan and translate design requirements into a structured verification approach.
• Develop and maintain a SystemVerilog/UVM testbench for complex IP verification.
• Investigate failing tests, trace issues to their root cause, and resolve difficult technical problems.
• Create a functional coverage model to measure how thoroughly the design has been exercised.
• Join review activities to make sure the testbench is ready for quality expectations and sign-off, including coverage goals, functional safety needs, and testbench qualification.
• Look for practical ways to improve verification productivity and identify risks early in the process.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the verification methodology and the architecture used for IP testbenches.

What the employer is looking for

• At least five years of experience in verification.
• Direct IP-level verification experience is essential.
• Subsystem-level verification experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong capability with hardware verification languages, particularly SystemVerilog and UVM.
• The ability to design robust and efficient testbench architectures.
• Familiarity with EDA tools used for design and simulation.
• Some scripting ability in Python or Perl.
• Knowledge of functional safety standards, including ISO 26262 and ASIL-D requirements.
• Experience and confidence working at a senior/staff level, with the ability to own complex verification tasks and solve challenging issues independently.
