Associate, Client Service, French Speaker, 2026 Overview

Company Name Alphasights
Job Role Associate, Client Service, French Speaker, 2026
Qualifications Bachelor’s (with 2:1)
Category Customer Service Jobs
Job Type Full Time
Location London

This Associate role in the Client Service team is aimed at someone who wants to begin a career in a fast-moving commercial environment and make an immediate impact while following a defined path for progression. The position is based in London and sits within AlphaSights’ client service function, where the work centers on connecting clients with the expert knowledge they need to make better decisions.

The role is highly communication-driven and front-line in nature. You will be working across several projects at once for clients such as investors, strategists, and dealmakers at leading organizations. The job requires you to stay organized across multiple parallel tasks, respond quickly, and keep projects moving under pressure and to tight deadlines.

What you will do

  • Act as the bridge between clients and experts, helping clients access the specialist insight they are looking for.
  • Manage several assignments simultaneously, often for high-level clients who need expert input to support important commercial decisions.
  • Spend a substantial part of your day speaking with experts by phone to identify the best matches for client projects, frequently working to urgent deadlines.
  • Build a strong understanding of each project’s subject matter, the relevant market environment, and the legal and regulatory considerations that apply to both clients and experts.
  • Own projects end to end, including starting client-expert communication, coordinating the process, and arranging calls carefully so that everything runs smoothly.
  • Work in a role that demands strong multitasking, clear communication, resilience, and the ability to stay effective in a results-oriented setting.
  • Develop commercial and client-management capabilities that transfer across industries and professions, rather than being limited to one sector.
  • Grow into a structured progression route, with advancement to Manager typically after 24 to 30 months and to Vice President after around five years.
  • Potentially become eligible for AlphaSights’ MBA Tuition Program after completing the Associate Program successfully.

What AlphaSights is looking for

  • An undergraduate degree at 2:1 level or above, or an equivalent academic standard.
  • Strong extracurricular involvement and evidence of achievement beyond academic study during school and university.
  • Relevant internship experience.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and French, with fluency at native or C2 level required.
  • Experience of living or working in continental Europe is considered an advantage.
  • A person who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and is comfortable working under pressure.
  • A client-first approach, along with grit, resilience, and a willingness to take a hands-on approach.
  • Strong professional communication skills, plus the ability to negotiate, persuade, manage projects, and organize time effectively.
  • Applicants should be prepared to provide information about their academic background, language level, extracurricular activities, and preferred start date as part of the application process.

Compensation and perks

  • Expected total pay in the first year is approximately £48,500 to £57,500 for average to high performers.
  • The package includes a £41,500 base salary and uncapped performance-related variable compensation.
  • Eligible earnings receive a 4% pension match.
  • Private health insurance and dental insurance are included.
  • You receive 25 days of holiday, in addition to bank holidays and the office closure period between Christmas and New Year.
  • The office is in central London and includes subsidised lunch, plus complimentary breakfast, snacks, and fruit throughout the day.
  • You can work from home on Fridays.
  • There is also a possible route to financial support for MBA study at selected leading business schools after successful completion of the program.

Visa and work authorization

AlphaSights states that it holds a UK sponsorship licence and welcomes candidates who need visa sponsorship. The company says applicants who require sponsorship should discuss this openly with the recruiter during the process, and that doing so will not affect hiring outcomes. The application form also asks whether you currently need, or may later need, a visa to work in the UK, including Skilled Worker sponsorship.

Additional application information

To apply, candidates must submit a legal first and last name, email address, phone number, resume or CV, and an optional cover letter. The form also asks how you heard about the role, whether you have applied to AlphaSights before, your preferred start date, your fluency level in the language required for the role, whether you speak any additional languages at native level, whether you have at least one degree taught entirely in English, your major category, where you completed your latest degree, the year you graduated or expect to graduate, your latest degree result, and up to three extracurricular activities lasting at least one year. Applicants are also asked about their UK work authorization status and must consent to the company’s candidate privacy notice before submitting.

AlphaSights describes itself as an equal opportunity employer and says candidates who need reasonable adjustments during the interview process can contact [email protected].
