Company Name Alphasights

Qualifications Bachelor’s (with 2:1)
Category Customer Service Jobs
Job Type Full Time
Location London

This Associate role in Client Service is designed for people who want to begin a career in a demanding commercial environment where they can make an immediate impact and follow a clear path for progression. The position sits within AlphaSights’ Client Service team in London and is aimed at candidates who are motivated by pace, responsibility, and direct exposure to the business world.

The role is built for someone who enjoys working with urgency, stays calm under pressure, and is comfortable juggling several priorities at once. It suits candidates with a strong client-first attitude, a willingness to work hard, and the resilience needed to succeed in a results-focused setting.

What you will do

  • Serve as the key link between AlphaSights clients and the expert insight they are seeking, helping clients access the knowledge they need to support important decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time for investors, strategists, and dealmakers at leading organizations, often while working to very tight deadlines.
  • Spend a substantial part of the day contacting experts by phone to identify the most relevant people for each client project and to move projects forward quickly.
  • Take responsibility for understanding the commercial purpose of each project, along with the market background and the legal and regulatory considerations that apply to the client and the expert.
  • Own projects end to end, including starting and coordinating communication between clients and experts, arranging calls, and making sure the process runs smoothly.
  • Work in a highly communication-intensive frontline role that requires strong multitasking across several active workstreams.
  • Help clients receive timely, high-quality support so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

What success in the role looks like

  • Gaining broad exposure to the business world rather than being limited to one industry or profession.
  • Building transferable commercial and client-management capabilities, including professional communication, negotiation, persuasion, project management, and time management.
  • Progressing along a defined career path, with the opportunity to move up to Manager after roughly 24 to 30 months and to Vice President after about five years.
  • Potentially becoming eligible for the MBA Tuition Program after successfully completing the Associate Program, which offers financial support toward tuition at some of the world’s leading business schools.

What you need

  • An undergraduate degree with at least a 2:1 result, or an equivalent academic standard.
  • Strong academic credentials overall.
  • Clear evidence of achievement outside the classroom through extracurricular involvement during school and university.
  • Relevant internship experience.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Experience living or working in continental Europe is preferred.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment where pressure and deadlines are part of everyday work.
  • A resilient, proactive, and hands-on approach, with the grit to keep pushing forward and make things happen.

Compensation and benefits

  • Expected total pay in the first year of around £48,500 to £57,500 for average to strong performance.
  • A fixed annual salary of £41,500.
  • Uncapped performance-related variable compensation.
  • Matched pension contributions of 4% on eligible earnings.
  • Private health insurance with comprehensive coverage.
  • Dental insurance.
  • 25 days of holiday, plus bank holidays and the office shutdown period between Christmas and New Year.
  • A central London workplace.
  • Subsidised lunch.
  • Complimentary breakfast, snacks, and fruit throughout the day.
  • The flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
