This role sits within Liberty Global’s Commercial External team in London and is focused on helping shape and deliver the company’s commercial approach to the European B2B market. The emphasis is on unlocking growth from near-core offerings and ICT/cloud products and services. The position works closely with the VP and Commercial & Operations leadership, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a small team that has a meaningful impact on business outcomes.

What you will do

  • Support the VP and Commercial & Operations leadership in defining and executing a commercial strategy for the European B2B market, with a strong focus on revenue growth from near-core and ICT/cloud solutions.
  • Work with teams across the business to turn B2B growth opportunities into practical plans, including building new capabilities, forming partnerships, and spotting attractive market trends.
  • Take ownership of priority Commercial & Operations projects and drive them forward independently within a compact, high-impact team.
  • Identify and help shape new products and services that can increase revenue in the B2B and SME space.
  • Partner with operating company teams and central functions to implement successful product strategies and replicate effective approaches across markets.
  • Act as a main coordination point for key B2B partnerships, including hyperscalers such as Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, as well as systems integrators.
  • Help put in place a more structured and consistent way of working with external partners.
  • Contribute to defining the capabilities required inside the operating companies, including sales and IT/platform capabilities.
  • Support capability-building initiatives through training, partnerships, and other development activities.
  • Work with the VP to coordinate stakeholders involved in M&A activity, and at times lead workstreams to ensure inorganic growth opportunities are properly evaluated and executed with the right oversight.
  • Organize regular knowledge-sharing sessions with industry peers and stay current on commercial, operational, and technology developments.
  • Prepare updates on commercial and operational performance for internal meetings such as operating reviews and strategy sessions, turning information into clear insights that support decisions.
  • Communicate and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

What you need

  • Proven experience supporting and developing commercial strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across all levels of a large organization.
  • Comfort operating in a complex, international matrix structure.
  • A collaborative style and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English.
  • At least five years of experience in corporate strategy and/or commercial B2B environments.
  • Experience in management consulting or a similar role is desirable.
  • Experience in transformation or operations management is also desirable.
  • Knowledge of telecoms, media, or closely related industries would be beneficial.
  • A bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or a related discipline is preferred, and a master’s degree would be an advantage.
