The environment is built around a “winning culture” that values ambition, leadership, collaboration, and celebrating success. Anaplan also emphasizes that it works with many large enterprise brands and that it welcomes people from all backgrounds and identities.

  • Establish clear governance structures, define scope carefully, and identify assumptions early so delivery remains controlled and realistic.
  • Serve as the central delivery contact for customers, building alignment with stakeholders ranging from operational teams to executive leadership.
  • Manage large, complicated enterprise programs while balancing scope, risk, budget, staffing, and overall delivery quality.
  • Anticipate issues before they become major blockers and drive timely decisions on solution design, testing, timelines, and organizational change activities.
  • Use strong negotiation and influencing skills to resolve disagreements, keep teams aligned, and maintain momentum across the program.
  • Take responsibility for turning around projects that have gone off course, including work led by partners or vendors, and bring them back to a successful delivery path.
  • Promote Anaplan’s delivery approach and help ensure solutions are scalable, intuitive, and easy for end users to adopt.
  • Provide clear and practical reporting on project progress and the overall health of the portfolio to both internal leaders and customer stakeholders.
  • Act as a strategic advisor who can communicate effectively with everyone from daily users to C-level executives.

What the role requires

  • Substantial experience in program or project management within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • A strong record of leading complex implementations at program level, ideally in Supply Chain, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Workforce Planning.
  • Deep practical experience with Agile delivery methods, which the employer considers essential.
  • Good commercial understanding of project finance topics, especially budgeting, forecasting, and billing, and how they affect successful delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to recover troubled projects and realign delivery when work has been led by external partners or vendors.
  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and negotiate confidently.
  • Capability to manage multiple enterprise programs simultaneously while keeping delivery on track.
  • A self-directed, highly driven approach with the confidence to take ownership and operate effectively in a hands-on leadership role.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, FP&A, or Workforce Planning would be a strong advantage, though it is not mandatory.
