This position sits within gTech Ads, the organization that supports customers across Googleâs advertising products with media, technical, and service expertise. The team helps advertisers and publishers get more value from Googleâs ad and publisher offerings by providing support that ranges from self-service guidance and in-product help to account setup, campaign implementation, media solutions, and complex technical and measurement support. The work spans both highly tailored solutions for large customers and scalable support for millions of users worldwide.
Within that broader organization, Google has created a new Agency and Partners group focused on scaling expert services by building a technically enabled third-party partner ecosystem. The upskilling function in this group is responsible for helping agencies and partners understand Googleâs media products and services so they can adopt them more effectively, activate faster, and contribute to business growth at scale.
What you will do
- Develop the regional enablement approach and learning roadmap for an important product area by assessing where partner capability, product readiness, and service delivery are falling short, then deciding which skills matter most and designing learning programs to address those gaps.
- Partner with regional delivery managers to run training initiatives and manage the certification process so there is a consistent supply of agencies and partners who are ready to work on the product.
- Collaborate with teams across gTech Ads, Product, Marketing, and Sales to design and roll out service bundles for agencies that support annual business objectives.
- Strengthen cross-functional relationships by building trust, aligning expectations, and helping drive greater demand for the services offered by the team.
- Support a collaborative team culture by leading projects that help the team operate effectively across locations and manage large internal operations.
What Google is looking for
- A bachelorâs degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five or more years in program management or project management.
- Five or more years leading cross-functional or cross-team initiatives.
- Experience working with global agency ecosystems.
- Background working with Google Ads products and media services.
- Evidence of successful collaboration across global teams and culturally diverse environments.
- Strong communication, people management, and presentation abilities, including the ability to influence colleagues in other functions and senior leaders.
- Proven problem-solving and execution capability.
- Excellent critical thinking skills when dealing with unclear or ambiguous situations.
- English fluency, since Google states that English proficiency is required for all roles unless the posting says otherwise.
- Experience level consistent with a mid-level role involving progress-driving, problem-solving, and mentoring less experienced team members.
