This senior management role sits within Capgemini Invent and focuses on Oracle finance architecture, with a strong emphasis on Business Process Services experience. The position is aimed at an experienced Oracle specialist who can help shape and deliver finance transformation for clients across both public and private sector environments. The work combines deep Oracle knowledge with strategic thinking, process improvement, stakeholder management, and leadership, all within a consulting setting that values innovation, collaboration, and measurable client impact.

In this role, you will help clients modernise and improve their financial operations by designing and delivering Oracle-led solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned to business and regulatory needs. You will be expected to bring together architecture expertise, transformation experience, and commercial awareness to support client delivery as well as the growth of the Oracle practice.

What you will do

  • Lead Oracle finance transformation work for clients, helping shape how Oracle ERP and related cloud capabilities are used to improve financial operations.
  • Design complete Oracle Cloud solutions across ERP and HCM, making sure they are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Run solution design workshops and convert business needs into practical Oracle architecture and delivery approaches.
  • Take ownership of the technical quality and integrity of Oracle implementations, including oversight of delivery teams and their outputs.
  • Advise clients on Oracle roadmap planning, integration strategy, and governance for transformation programmes.
  • Support business development activity by contributing to proposals, bids, solution shaping, proposition development, and client presentations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration, data migration, and system optimisation.
  • Stay current with Oracle Cloud capabilities and share that knowledge internally to strengthen the wider practice.
  • Design financial architecture solutions that support client goals while meeting standards for scalability, flexibility, and compliance.
  • Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives, including assessment of current processes, identification of gaps, and creation of actionable improvement plans.
  • Use Business Process Services expertise to analyse financial processes, recommend improvements, and reduce operational risk.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and C-level leaders to understand their challenges and build trusted relationships that support successful delivery.
  • Mentor finance architects and consultants, helping to build capability, encourage professional growth, and maintain high-quality delivery against deadlines.
  • Contribute to internal practice development through campaigns, think-tanks, whitepapers, recruitment activity, team events, and offering development.
  • Support learning and development activity, including training and certifications that help build both your own career and the skills needed by the business.

What the role is looking for

  • Strong experience in Oracle ERP finance architecture, together with Business Process Services experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud solutions, especially across ERP and HCM, and the ability to design for complex client needs.
  • Experience leading solution design and translating business requirements into effective technical architectures.
  • Confidence overseeing delivery teams and ensuring implementation quality, performance, and technical soundness.
  • Experience advising on transformation governance, integration strategy, and Oracle roadmap planning.
  • Ability to contribute to business development through proposals, bids, solutioning, and client-facing presentations.
  • Experience working with both public and private sector clients, including in regulated environments.
  • Strong structured thinking, process improvement capability, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, including executive-level clients.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams of architects and consultants.
  • Up-to-date understanding of Oracle Cloud capabilities and a willingness to share knowledge internally.
  • Flexibility to work from London, Manchester, or Glasgow as an office base, while also being available for assignments elsewhere and periods away from home at short notice.
  • The role is for an experienced professional and is offered on a permanent contract.
