Product Marketing Director Semiconductor IP Overview

This role is for a commercially minded product marketing and go-to-market specialist who can help accelerate the growth of advanced semiconductor technologies in international markets. The position sits at the intersection of product, sales, and engineering, with responsibility for shaping market direction, creating new commercial opportunities, and strengthening customer engagement across fast-growing application areas such as AI, automotive, IoT, mobile, and datacentre.

What you will do

• Develop and carry out go-to-market plans designed to expand pipeline and increase market adoption for semiconductor IP and related technologies.
• Collaborate closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to help define market strategy and support commercial execution.
• Seek out and engage new customers, partners, and other opportunities that can drive business growth in global markets.
• Keep track of semiconductor industry trends, competitor activity, and new technologies so that market strategy stays current and informed.
• Assist with product launches, industry events, and other customer-facing activities that build awareness and demand.
• Bring insights from customers and the market back into product planning and wider strategic decision-making.

What the employer is looking for

• A technical background, ideally a degree in electronic engineering or a similar qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in go-to-market or product marketing roles within the semiconductor industry.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
• A proactive, curious, and results-oriented working style.
• Experience involving GPUs, AI, compute technologies, or semiconductor IP would be especially valuable.
