Join Lenovoâs Solutions & Services Group in a senior commercial and technical role focused on security software and services. This position is designed for someone who can help expand the companyâs cybersecurity services business with enterprise customers by combining solution selling, technical credibility, and partner collaboration. You will work across endpoint, network, and cloud security, helping customers respond to a fast-changing threat environment with AI-enabled and managed security offerings.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Global Software & Services Sales and contribute directly to the growth of Lenovoâs security services portfolio. The position brings together sales leadership and technical solution design, with responsibility for shaping opportunities, supporting customer decision-making, and helping close complex deals. You will collaborate closely with account teams, channel partners, and technology vendors to deliver tailored security services that meet customer needs.
What you will do
- Act as the main commercial and technical lead for Lenovoâs security services, taking responsibility for a dedicated sales target and driving opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Work alongside account executives, distributors, and managed service providers to build a healthy pipeline and move deals forward more quickly.
- Lead discovery discussions with customers to understand their security posture, identify weaknesses and risks, and define the right requirements for a solution.
- Design and present AI-enabled security offerings that combine managed services with protection for endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements, often in collaboration with partners such as Microsoft, Absolute, SentinelOne, and MSPs.
- Act as a trusted advisor by explaining how AI-driven security capabilities and modern threat intelligence can help customers reduce cyber risk.
- Contribute to responses for RFPs and RFIs, help shape solution architecture, and ensure the proposed service model can be delivered at scale.
- Support partner enablement through training and knowledge sharing, while also bringing back customer and market insight to inform strategy.
- Keep up to date with emerging threats, AI-based attack techniques, and developments in continuous monitoring and response so that Lenovoâs security services remain competitive and relevant.
What Lenovo is looking for
- Substantial relevant professional experience, ideally including work with or against major cybersecurity ecosystem companies such as Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, or Arrow.
- Preference for candidates who understand channel-led and distribution-led sales models, especially in European enterprise settings.
- Exposure to important cybersecurity areas such as endpoint security, identity and access management, SOC/MDR, or integrated platform-based solutions is preferred.
- Experience working with security vendors, MDR/MSSP providers, distributors, or systems integrators is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise buying processes, including procurement, budgeting, and how decisions are made in large organisations.
- Ability to engage, influence, and build credibility with senior enterprise stakeholders such as CISOs, CIOs, and other executive leaders.
- Proven track record of selling complex security solutions in multi-stakeholder environments using a consultative, outcome-led approach.
- Strong experience in IT services and/or cybersecurity services sales, with a focus on solutions, services, and value-based selling rather than hardware-only sales.
- The role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire, United Kingdom and is offered on a full-time basis.
