Amazon Shipping is expanding a fast-growing logistics business that aims to change how logistics is understood and delivered. As the company grows its business development function across Europe, it is seeking a learning and development leader who can support regional business developers while working closely with learning and development partners based in the United States.
In this senior role, you will be responsible for adapting and delivering enablement programs for Europe in a way that reflects local market realities, cultural differences, and regulatory needs, while still staying aligned with the company’s global standards and learning framework.
What you will do
- Work in partnership with US-based learning and development colleagues to tailor global onboarding and enablement programs for European audiences.
- Design and deliver training that is relevant to specific European markets and takes into account customer expectations, local business conditions, and cultural context.
- Support business development teams across Europe through onboarding, continuous enablement, and reinforcement activities that help them apply learning in practice.
- Gather feedback and practical insights from the region and share them with global learning leaders to improve the usefulness and relevance of learning content.
- Make sure all enablement materials are appropriate for regional compliance obligations and business needs.
- Act as the central learning and development contact for the European business development organization.

You should be able to adapt global programs without weakening consistency, and you should be comfortable helping business developers succeed within a shared operating model.
You will need to be collaborative, proactive, and confident working across time zones. Strong facilitation ability, awareness of local markets, and a genuine interest in helping business developers perform well in varied environments are all important.
Required experience and capabilities
- Experience designing and implementing learning programs for senior audiences, including instructional design, facilitation, and project management.
- Demonstrated success working across functions and building effective relationships with people at different levels of an organization.
- Ability to create engaging training that resonates with sales teams across multiple European markets, including the UK, Germany, and France.
- Capability to own the training needs of European sales teams and work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred background
- Experience driving process improvements.
- Experience supporting European sales or business development organizations.
- Experience in B2B environments or industries connected to logistics.
- Experience supporting European sales or business development teams in a global context.
- Background in B2B logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce.
- Familiarity with sales enablement systems such as Highspot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Experience using AI-based learning tools or practice environments such as Hyperbound, Compass, or comparable solutions.
