This role sits within AWS Global Sales and focuses on expanding adoption of Amazon Web Services across the enterprise market by building strong partner-led sales motions. The position is centered on developing and managing strategic relationships with consulting partners and technology partners, then using those relationships to create, progress, and close opportunities that increase AWS revenue and strengthen cloud adoption.
The successful candidate will combine commercial sales experience with the ability to work credibly at senior executive level. The role calls for someone who can engage with CXO stakeholders, understand enterprise buying processes, and translate business and technical needs into clear AWS value propositions. It also requires someone who can operate independently, shape territory plans, and consistently deliver against revenue expectations.
What you will do
- Own partner sales activity across a defined enterprise territory, coordinating with multiple account teams and partner organizations to grow AWS business.
- Develop senior relationships with strategic consulting partners, including GSI and SI firms, and with ISV technology partners to support joint selling and revenue generation.
- Work with AWS account teams and customers to originate, advance, and close partner-influenced opportunities that contribute to AWS revenue growth.
- Build and maintain detailed account and territory plans, then execute them to achieve revenue and win objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as account teams, specialist sellers, services, business development, partner marketing, and partner development to deliver the territory strategy.
- Shape and present compelling business cases and value propositions for AWS services to customers and partners.
- Keep a strong and active sales pipeline moving through the funnel.
- Support customer and partner satisfaction by managing ongoing relationships and day-to-day interactions.
- Provide technical and architectural guidance to partners during customer engagements and when they are taking solutions to market, including support for ISV partnership activity.
- Drive business development initiatives with partner development, marketing, and GTM teams to create opportunities for AWS-based solutions and reinforce AWS as the preferred platform.
- Lead contract negotiations and oversee AWS funding programs as part of deal and partner execution.

- Strong cloud technical knowledge, plus familiarity with software architecture and the enterprise GenAI and agentic software space.
Preferred background
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
- Direct sales experience.
- Experience in the enterprise software development industry.
