An innovative and expanding technology company in Cambridge is hiring a Senior Electronics Engineer to strengthen its engineering team. This is an important appointment for the business, bringing in specialist expertise to help develop the next generation of electronic products intended for demanding and safety-critical applications.

The position is permanent and based in Cambridge, with a salary range of £60,000 to £85,000 plus bonus. The company also offers a strong benefits package, including financial support for relocation.

What you will do

  • Take responsibility for electronic design work throughout the full product lifecycle, from early development through to final delivery.
  • Design electronics for ATEX and intrinsically safe applications, ensuring suitability for hazardous operating environments.
  • Develop mixed-signal hardware solutions that include analogue, digital, and power electronics.
  • Support testing, verification, compliance, and certification activities as part of regulated product development.
  • Create detailed technical documentation to support design decisions, validation, and approval processes.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and other stakeholders across the business to deliver new products.
