S/4 Hana Public Cloud Finance Lead – London, UK Overview

This is a senior SAP finance leadership opportunity within Infosys’s European SAP practice, focused on guiding major transformation work in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The position calls for a highly experienced professional who can combine deep technical SAP knowledge with strong commercial judgment, client-facing leadership, and the ability to shape and deliver complex finance programs from strategy through execution.

What the role involves

• Leading SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud finance transformation initiatives as a senior Industry Principal.
• Helping define the transformation direction and overall vision for SAP finance programs.
• Managing high-level client relationships and representing the practice in discussions with senior finance stakeholders.
• Designing complete end-to-end solutions for SAP S/4HANA finance implementations.
• Driving delivery excellence across large and complex transformation engagements.
• Applying deep finance-process knowledge to implementation work in a public cloud environment.
• Supporting solution design and delivery decisions around ledger structures, fiscal year setup, period-end close, consolidation, localization, and statutory reporting.
• Advising on intercompany processing, including reconciliation and elimination activities.
• Contributing expertise in cash accounting, bank integration, and multi-bank connectivity.
• Supporting understanding of time and expense processes and revenue recognition requirements.
• Working with related enterprise systems where needed, including CRM, Concur, time entry, and data warehouse platforms.
• Using SAP Activate and CALM approaches where relevant to the implementation.

Experience and knowledge needed

• Proven experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud finance solutions.
• Experience working in the services industry.
• Strong understanding of finance topics such as ledger design, fiscal year management, period-end activities, consolidation, localization, and statutory reporting.
• Practical experience with intercompany processes, including elimination and reconciliation.
• Experience with cash accounting, bank integration, and multi-bank connectivity.
• Good understanding of time and expense systems.
• Good understanding of revenue recognition.
• Preferred knowledge of 3SL and parallel landscape setups.
• Preferred experience integrating finance solutions with upstream and downstream systems such as CRM, Concur, time entry, and data warehouse tools.
• Preferred experience with e-invoicing and e-billing.
• Preferred familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and CALM.
• Senior-level SAP expertise and a track record of steering complex transformation programs.
