An international employer is seeking a MOSFET Product Engineer to support the development and launch of power MOSFET products. The position is based in Glasgow, Scotland and is presented with a strong salary package plus relocation support. The successful candidate will play a central role in taking products from initial silicon through to full production release, while also ensuring that qualification and characterisation work is completed to a strict schedule.
What you will do
- Manage new product introduction activity for power MOSFET devices, guiding products from first silicon through to production release.
- Carry out and oversee product characterisation work to confirm device and product performance.
- Plan and drive product qualification tasks so that milestones are met on time.
- Work with production teams in the UK to support manufacturing and release activities.
- Coordinate with research and development teams in Taiwan as part of the wider product development process.
What the employer is looking for
- Practical knowledge of power semiconductor devices and the associated product engineering environment.
- Understanding of, or direct experience with, wafer test procedures and reliability testing.
- Experience with wafer fabrication processes.
- Strong communication abilities, with the confidence to work across different teams and locations.
- A degree, or an equivalent qualification, in Physics, Electronics, or a related discipline.
