This role is for a bright, ambitious graduate who wants to build a career in analysis while working on technology that has a real impact in healthcare. The position sits within the analyst team and involves taking ideas and requirements from healthcare settings, then working closely with software developers to turn those needs into new product features and improvements. The work brings together business analysis, systems analysis, and project management, so it is well suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and learning quickly.
The projects are diverse, which means the role offers constant exposure to new challenges. One assignment might focus on helping a hospital improve patient movement and flow in a busy emergency department. Another could involve designing and delivering an app for patients in rural areas of China. The company highlights that the work is meaningful and that it supports healthcare delivery in the UK and internationally.
Because the role is Mandarin speaking, your language skills will be used regularly, including during frequent travel to China. Alongside the international element, you will also continue to develop broader professional skills while working in the office and collaborating with colleagues across different teams.
What you will do
- Contribute to a wide range of projects within the analyst team, supporting healthcare technology work across different environments.
- Work with healthcare users and stakeholders to understand what they need from the system or product.
- Translate those needs into clear requirements and collaborate with developers on the design of new functionality.
- Take part in work that combines analysis, systems thinking, and project coordination.
- Support initiatives that may improve patient flow in hospital emergency departments.
- Help design and deploy patient-facing applications, including projects connected to communities in China.
- Use Mandarin in customer and project interactions, including during regular visits to China.
- Build experience through hands-on responsibility and exposure to a broad mix of work from early in the role.
What the company is looking for
- A graduate with a strong academic background, ideally with a 2:1 degree or above, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least AAB at A-level, or an accepted international equivalent.
- Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Applicants from any discipline are welcome, provided they are bright, driven, and able to adapt quickly.
- International qualification equivalents are accepted, including a degree GPA of 3.5 or above, 33 or above in the International Baccalaureate, AABBBB at Scottish Higher level, ABB at Advanced Scottish Higher level, or 550/750 or above in Gaokao.
- Someone who is comfortable working on varied projects and taking on responsibility in a fast-moving environment.
What is on offer
- A salary of £60,000.
- The chance to work on important healthcare technology projects with visible impact.
- Varied work that keeps the role interesting and provides continuous learning opportunities.
- Early ownership and responsibility, with the opportunity to make a real contribution from the start.
- Frequent travel to China as part of the role.
- A collaborative office culture where different teams work closely together toward shared goals.
- Strong opportunities for personal and professional growth, including increased confidence through challenging work.
- The company notes that it is actively recruiting and describes its staff as key workers contributing to technology that supports the NHS during the COVID-19 period.
