Bloombergâs Electronic Trading Solutions team brings together the companyâs cross-asset electronic trading platforms into a single group focused on trading workflows and analytics for both buy-side and sell-side clients. The platform set supports clients across the full trading lifecycle, including staging, monitoring, trading, clearing, allocation, and transaction cost analysis, all within one environment. The business also includes solutions that work with Bloomberg and non-Bloomberg order management systems, helping capture workflow, protect terminal usage, and expand revenue opportunities across both sides of the market.
Role overview
This position is centered on driving Bloombergâs growth in fixed income electronic trading across Switzerland and Monaco. The role covers a highly influential client base that includes private banks, wealth managers, family offices, and asset managers. It is designed for someone who can build trusted relationships with sophisticated financial institutions, deepen engagement with important market participants, and help expand the use of Bloombergâs trading solutions in a region that is strategically important to the business.
You will work across Electronic Trading Services, Enterprise Sales, and Product teams to strengthen Bloombergâs presence in a globally significant center for private banking, wealth management, and asset management. The role is focused on expanding existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and contributing directly to a business area that Bloomberg describes as central to its long-term strategy. Because of the client base and regional coverage, strong French language ability is essential.
What you will do
- Develop a deep understanding of Bloombergâs products and how they connect to financial markets so you can position the right solutions to clients.
- Work with clients to uncover workflow gaps and show how Bloomberg can improve their processes, increase terminal usage, and drive adoption of marquee products.
- Take ownership of the coverage region and act proactively, including tracking users who may be at risk so the business can be defended and retained.
- Run usage campaigns, both independently and as part of management-led initiatives, to help meet commercial targets.
- Build strong knowledge of Bloombergâs customer types by understanding how those clients generate revenue, perform their jobs, and use technology.
- Demonstrate the functionality and workflows of relevant Bloomberg solutions in a way that speaks directly to the needs of each customer segment.
- Bring forward new ideas that anticipate client requirements and help address them before they become problems.
- Contribute to new projects and initiatives at both the departmental and firm-wide level.
- Use your understanding of the market environment to support commercial conversations with both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Help expand Bloombergâs fixed income electronic trading footprint by strengthening relationships and uncovering new business opportunities.
What Bloomberg is looking for
- Practical experience using Bloombergâs electronic trading platform and terminal, or a similar product set, together with relevant asset-class functionality.
- A commercial approach and the ability to operate effectively in a non-hierarchical environment where collaboration matters more than formal titles.
- A genuine willingness to work with and support colleagues.
- Excellent presentation, training, and communication skills.
- Comfort with regular business travel.
- Fluency in French.
