This is an opportunity for an experienced mixed-signal verification specialist to join a highly regarded semiconductor business in the South of England. The role is aimed at someone who wants to deepen their technical breadth while working on advanced integrated circuits at the leading edge of the market. You would be part of a respected IC engineering group and contribute to the verification of complex mixed-signal designs, while also helping to improve the methods and workflows used across the verification function.
What you will do
- Take responsibility for the end-to-end verification activity for complex mixed-signal IC designs.
- Work within a world-class engineering team developing advanced semiconductor products.
- Support and improve the mixed-signal verification approach and methodology used by the group.
- Apply analog subsystem modelling techniques as part of the verification process, including work in VerilogA/AMS and SystemVerilog.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment where technical quality and first-time-right delivery are important.
- Help deliver complex ICs successfully while building your own technical capability across mixed-signal verification.
What the employer is looking for
- A degree at BSc or MSc level in Electronic Engineering, or a qualification of similar standing.
- Substantial experience in analog mixed-signal verification.
- A track record of delivering complex mixed-signal IC projects successfully and with first-pass correctness.
- Experience building models of analog subsystems using VerilogA/AMS and/or SystemVerilog.
- Practical scripting ability with tools and languages such as Python, sh/csh, TCL, and Make.
- A strong team-oriented mindset and the ability to work well with others.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English.
