This role sits within Googleâs Large Customer Sales organization and focuses on managing strategic partnerships with major creative technology and production companies. The position is centered on building commercial and technical relationships that help partners adopt Googleâs advertising capabilities more deeply, especially through Google Ads APIs, YouTube best practices, and generative AI-enabled workflows. The work combines partner management, technical coordination, go-to-market planning, and cross-functional influence across global and regional teams.
In this role, you would be the primary owner for key creative tech and production partners, helping ensure that Googleâs global strategy is translated into effective execution in local markets. You would work across Global and US APCS markets and collaborate closely with local Creative Works and pGPS teams. A major part of the job is acting as the link between partner product and engineering teams and Googleâs internal go-to-market, product, gTech, and Cloud organizations. Success is measured by how mature the partnerships become, especially in terms of how fully partners integrate Google Ads APIs and YouTube practices into their own production and creative workflows to improve quality and scale for large advertisers.
What you will do
- Take ownership of Googleâs global relationships with important creative technology and production partners, including the commercial and strategic direction of those accounts.
- Build and manage joint business plans and quarterly business reviews that align Googleâs roadmap with partner priorities and help quantify the technical return on investment from the relationship.
- Coordinate work between global agency teams and the APCS Large Customer Sales organization, converting broad strategic goals into concrete regional and local action plans.
- Partner with local Creative Works and pGPS teams to make sure global initiatives are executed effectively in each market.
- Act as the connection point between partner product and engineering teams and Googleâs GTM, Product, gTech, and Cloud groups.
- Drive partner onboarding, incentive programs, and certification efforts, and help create go-to-market stories such as âYouTube x Partnerâ narratives that improve ecosystem readiness.
- Promote the use of Google Ads APIs, generative AI, and partner tools to remove workflow bottlenecks, and turn partner feedback into input for product roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities to expand business across multiple markets and support partners in selling Google solutions through training and co-marketing.
What Google is looking for
- A bachelorâs degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of relevant experience if you hold an advanced degree.
- Experience working directly with advertisers, agencies, or production partners.
- Availability to travel for client meetings and training when required.
- Experience navigating large, matrixed organizations, particularly across Cloud, GPS, and LCS, to clear roadblocks and manage senior-level partner escalations.
- Strong knowledge of the creative and production lifecycle, ad trafficking, generative AI, and how asset production connects to enterprise advertising.
- The ability to shift between executive relationship management and hands-on technical troubleshooting with Product and Sales Engineering teams.
- Comfort discussing technical roadmaps, including API infrastructure, data management, and AI-enabled SaaS business models.
- Experience level consistent with a mid-level role, including the ability to make progress, solve problems, and mentor more junior team members.
- English fluency, since Google states that English proficiency is required for all roles unless the posting says otherwise.
- Willingness to work from either New York, NY or London, UK, with the preferred location selected during the application process.
