What you will do

• Act as the technical lead and primary interface for important stakeholders during delivery.
• Use your technical background across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to architecture definition and solution design.
• Produce robust design artefacts and other architecture documentation of a high standard.
• Evaluate whether requested solutions are technically achievable and identify efficient ways to meet client needs.
• Work as part of a broader team, coordinating closely with colleagues located both in the UK and offshore.

What the role requires

• Strong practical experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM, including familiarity with the most recent releases.
• A solid understanding of core warehouse management processes.
• Hands-on capability in EWM RF customisation and development.
• Experience building, configuring, and supporting interfaces, including AIF monitoring and error handling.
• Working knowledge of the EWM Monitor.
• Extensive experience with PPF development.
• Experience with label printing in SAP environments.
• Experience delivering EWM enhancements.
• Ability to work with Eclipse and ADLC tools.
• Strong ABAP on S/4HANA experience, including workflows, AMDP, CDS views, BOPF, and BRF+.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and OData APIs, along with SAP AIF, in-app extensibility, and Adobe forms.
• Broad ABAP/4 programming experience covering ALV reports, interactive and classical reports, OSS note implementation, Smart Forms, Menu Painter, user exits, BAdIs, RFCs, dialog programming, and Data Dictionary work.
• Experience across ABAP planning, solution design, development, implementation, and testing for scripts, custom reports, user enhancements, dialog programs, and custom objects such as Z-tables and match codes.
• Ability to support the customisation of Fiori applications.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP diagnostic and performance tools such as SE30, ST05, and ST22, including runtime analysis, SQL tracing, dump analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and capacity planning.
• Preferred experience in the life sciences sector.
• Preferred technical knowledge of SAP S/4 EWM at a high level, including awareness of the product roadmap.
• Preferred prior work in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Multilingual skills are beneficial, although English is mandatory.
