This senior SAP leadership opportunity sits within Infosys’ expanding European SAP practice and focuses on guiding finance transformation work for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The position is intended for a highly experienced professional who can combine deep SAP knowledge with strong commercial judgment, executive presence, and the ability to steer complex transformation programs from strategy through delivery.

In this role, you would help define the transformation direction for clients, lead high-level engagement with senior stakeholders, and shape end-to-end solution design for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud finance programs. The position calls for someone who can ensure delivery excellence while also contributing to the broader vision for SAP-led change across the practice.

What you will do

• Lead finance transformation work on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud as a senior Industry Principal within the European SAP team.
• Help create and refine the SAP transformation vision for client programs.
• Own senior client interactions and represent the practice in discussions with finance executives and other top-level stakeholders.
• Design complete solution architectures for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud finance implementations.
• Guide complex transformation initiatives and maintain a strong focus on delivery quality and execution.
• Apply practical expertise in public cloud finance implementation work.
• Use service-industry finance knowledge to address ledger structures, fiscal year management, period-end close, consolidation, localization, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support intercompany accounting activities, including elimination and reconciliation.
• Contribute to cash accounting processes, bank integration, and multi-bank connectivity scenarios.
• Bring understanding of time and expense systems and revenue recognition processes.
• Advise on integration with related enterprise systems such as CRM, Concur, time entry solutions, and data warehouse platforms.
• Work with modern SAP delivery methods, including Activate and CALM, where needed.

Experience and knowledge needed

• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance implementations.
• Experience working in the services industry.
• Strong grasp of finance and accounting topics including ledger design, fiscal year structures, period-end activities, consolidation, localization, and statutory reporting.
• Practical experience with intercompany processes, including elimination and reconciliation.
• Experience with cash accounting, bank integration, and multi-bank connectivity.
• Good understanding of time and expense systems.
• Good understanding of revenue recognition.
• Preferred knowledge of 3SL and parallel landscape design.
• Preferred experience integrating SAP with upstream and downstream systems such as CRM, Concur, time entry, and data warehouse tools.
• Preferred experience with e-invoicing and e-billing.
• Preferred experience using SAP Activate methodology and CALM.
• Strong analytical ability.
