Strategic Partner Development Manager, AI Pureplay, EMEA Overview

Company Name Google
Job Role Strategic Partner Development Manager, AI Pureplay, EMEA
Qualifications Bachelor’s
Category General Jobs
Job Type Full Time
Location London

This role sits within Google Cloud and focuses on expanding the company’s AI partner ecosystem across EMEA. The position is centered on recruiting new partners, helping them adopt Google Cloud services more quickly, and building the commercial and technical conditions needed for successful joint solutions. You would work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams to align senior stakeholders, shape co-innovation plans, and coordinate the sales motion between Google Cloud and partner organizations.

The broader context for the role is Google Cloud’s mission to help organizations transform digitally using enterprise-grade technology. Google Cloud serves customers in more than 200 countries and territories, and this role contributes to that effort by strengthening partner-led delivery and accelerating adoption of Cloud AI capabilities.

What you would do

  • Lead the operational planning needed to place scarce, high-value partner forward-deployed engineering resources against the most important customer opportunities.
  • Manage partner engagement pipelines, staffing plans, and delivery checkpoints so that both commercial and implementation work stay on track.
  • Help partner teams that work directly inside enterprise accounts navigate complicated customer environments and connect modern multi-agent orchestration with older corporate databases and hybrid systems.
  • Drive the execution of commercial models that reduce time to value for customers, improve return on investment, support partner growth, and increase Google Cloud consumption.
  • Act as a central connection point between partner engineers, Google Cloud sales teams, and technical leaders.
  • Gather practical feedback, deployment challenges, and technical blockers from partner work in the field and translate that information back to Cloud AI product and engineering teams.
  • Build executive alignment with partner companies and help define joint innovation plans for new solutions.
  • Coordinate the co-sell process between Google Cloud and partner sales organizations.

What you need

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in partner management, business development, sales, or channel development in the technology industry.
  • Direct experience with AI/ML transformation work that uses a forward-deployed engineering or embedded delivery approach.
  • Strong ownership, judgment, and decision-making ability, along with comfort solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders.
  • Experience bringing partner products and solutions to market, including complex channel motions such as multi-partner solutions, cloud marketplace procurement, and usage-based commercial models.
  • Experience operating at both strategic and execution levels when planning and managing partnerships.
  • Experience growing technology partnerships while collaborating across internal and external cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with senior executives at partner companies and earning their trust as an advisor.
  • Working knowledge of Google Cloud AI offerings such as Vertex AI, Gemini, and ADK.
  • Familiarity with modern multi-agent systems, coding agents, and open-source developer tool harnesses such as LangGraph and CrewAI.
  • English fluency, since Google says English is required for all roles unless the posting says otherwise.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global organization where cross-regional collaboration is expected.
