What you would do

• Work as an embedded engineer for AI deployments, helping customers move from quick prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows that can demonstrate measurable business impact.

• Build the technical links between Google’s AI offerings and customer systems, such as APIs, older data stores, and security controls.

• Develop evaluation and observability tooling so agentic systems can be assessed for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify recurring patterns and pain points from customer work and convert them into reusable building blocks or formal product feedback for Google engineering teams.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to promote strong development practices and support durable adoption of the solutions you build together.
• Act as a feedback channel from the field into Google Cloud’s roadmap, helping shape future product improvements based on real deployment experience.

What the role requires

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Eight or more years of experience in cloud computing or in a technical customer-facing role.
• Experience delivering AI systems from initial concept through production launch, including architecture work on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience creating pipelines for structured and unstructured data, using vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation-style approaches to support enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience running technical discovery sessions.
• Strong ability to handle ambiguous problems, make decisions, influence stakeholders, and bring deep expertise to complex technical work.
• Preferred background includes a master’s degree or PhD in AI, computer science, or a similar technical discipline.
• Preferred experience with multi-agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or ADK, along with advanced orchestration patterns like ReAct, self-reflection, and hierarchical delegation.
• Preferred familiarity with LLM-native operational metrics such as tokens per second and cost per request, plus techniques for improving state management and detailed tracing.
• English fluency is required for the role unless the posting states otherwise.
