This summer internship is an eight-week programme running from June through August and is built to give students a demanding, meaningful, and supportive experience. The structure is intended to reflect, as closely as possible, what it is like to work as a full-time analyst at BlackRock. Interns begin with an orientation that introduces the firm in depth and includes the chance to hear from senior leaders. After that, they receive practical training on the job and are trusted with everyday responsibilities that help them make a real contribution to their teams over the course of the summer.
The programme also includes a broader development experience beyond the day-to-day work. Interns can expect a speaker series, mentoring support, and a range of networking opportunities. These networking activities may also include events with employee networks. For students who find the experience appealing, the internship can serve as a stepping stone toward the Full-Time Analyst Programme, which may be an option to pursue after the internship ends.
