Corporate & Strategic – Finance – 2027 Summer Internship Program Overview

Company Name Blackrock
Job Role Corporate & Strategic – Finance – 2027 Summer Internship Program
Qualifications Bachelor’s
Category Finance Jobs
Job Type Internship
Location London

This summer internship programme is an eight-week experience running from June through August and is built to give students a demanding, meaningful, and well-supported introduction to life at BlackRock. The structure is intended to reflect, as closely as possible, what it is like to work as a full-time analyst at the firm. Interns begin with an orientation that provides a broad introduction to the organisation and includes the chance to hear from senior leaders. After that, participants move into practical on-the-job learning and are trusted with everyday responsibilities that help them contribute to their teams over the course of the summer.

The programme also includes a wider development experience beyond the core work itself. Interns can take part in a speaker series, receive mentoring, and join a range of networking opportunities, including activities connected to employee networks. The programme is designed not only to provide experience during the internship, but also to help students understand whether a future full-time analyst path at BlackRock could be the right next step.

What you will do

  • Join an eight-week summer internship from June to August and experience a programme designed to resemble the day-to-day life of a BlackRock analyst.
  • Start with an orientation that introduces the firm in detail and gives access to insights from senior leaders.
  • Learn through hands-on training and contribute to the work of your team through regular daily responsibilities.
  • Take part in development activities such as talks from speakers, mentoring support, and networking events.
  • Engage with employee network activities as part of the broader internship experience.
  • Use the internship as a potential pathway toward the Full-Time Analyst Programme after completion.

  • The pre-interview assessment must be completed within five days of the email being sent.
  • If the assessment is not completed in time, the application will be automatically withdrawn.
