This is a two-year full-time analyst programme for early-career candidates across the EMEA region. It is intended to help participants build a strong foundation at BlackRock by linking their personal interests and strengths to the firm’s mission, principles, and purpose. The programme starts with an orientation that introduces the organisation’s purpose, business, strategic priorities, and what the analyst role looks like in practice. After that, analysts join their teams and continue developing through regular training, professional development, and collaboration with colleagues around the world.

The programme is designed to give analysts a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the firm’s wider objective of helping more people achieve financial well-being. It is open to applicants from a broad range of academic backgrounds and is aimed at candidates graduating in the 2026 to 2027 window.

What you will do

  • Take part in a structured two-year analyst experience that supports your development from the start of your career.
  • Attend an onboarding orientation covering the firm’s purpose, business model, strategic priorities, and the realities of day-to-day analyst work.

  • Complete the pre-interview assessment after applying, making sure it is submitted within five days so the application remains active.

Who the programme is for

  • Candidates who will graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree between June 2026 and July 2027.
  • Applicants from any degree discipline; there is no requirement for a specific subject area.
  • People who are interested in starting their career in a global financial services environment and want a programme with structured development.

Location and language expectations

  • The programme is available across a wide range of EMEA locations, including Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
  • Listed cities include Amsterdam, Belgrade, Brussels, Budapest, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Dubai, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, Riyadh, Stockholm, and Zurich.
  • For roles in Continental Europe, candidates need to speak the local language fluently.
  • For Budapest, English is the only language requirement mentioned.
  • For positions in Private Markets Investing in Zurich, English is also sufficient.
  • The standard start date is August, although the company says earlier start dates may be considered.
