Corporate & Strategic – Strategic Clients & Initiatives – 2027 Summer Internship Program Overview

Company Name Blackrock
Job Role Corporate & Strategic – Strategic Clients & Initiatives – 2027 Summer Internship Program
Qualifications Bachelor’s
Category Finance Jobs
Job Type Internship
Location London

This summer internship is part of BlackRock’s EMEA early careers programme and is structured as an eight-week placement running from June through August. It is designed to give students a demanding, meaningful, and supportive experience that closely reflects what it is like to work as a full-time analyst at the firm.

The programme starts with an orientation that gives interns a detailed introduction to BlackRock and includes the chance to hear directly from senior leaders. After that, interns move into their teams and receive practical, on-the-job training. They are expected to take on real day-to-day responsibilities and contribute to their teams throughout the summer rather than simply observing from the sidelines.

In addition to team-based work, the internship includes a wider development programme. Interns can expect a speaker series, mentoring support, and a range of networking opportunities. These networking activities also include events connected to BlackRock’s employee networks, giving interns exposure to different parts of the organisation and its people.

For candidates who enjoy the experience and want to continue building a career at BlackRock, the company encourages exploration of its Full-Time Analyst Programme, which may be a next step after the internship.
