An opportunity is available for an electronics engineer to join a specialist engineering company that develops high-reliability RF and microwave components used in aerospace, defence, and communications applications. The role sits within a technically focused environment where the work has long-term impact and supports mission-critical products.
The electronics engineer will contribute to product development across both analogue and digital electronics. The position involves hands-on design and development work, including circuit design, PCB layout, testing, and validation. You will also work alongside mechanical engineers and RF engineers to create solutions that are dependable, practical to manufacture, and able to operate in demanding conditions.
What you will do
- Support the development of high-reliability RF and microwave components for specialist applications.
- Work across analogue and digital electronics as part of the product development process.
- Carry out circuit design tasks.
- Contribute to PCB layout work.
- Test and validate electronic designs and assemblies.
- Collaborate with mechanical and RF engineering colleagues to produce robust, manufacturable solutions.
- Help create electronics that can perform reliably in challenging environments.
What the employer is looking for
