This is a two-year full-time analyst programme for early-career candidates across the EMEA region. It is designed to help participants build their careers by connecting their personal interests and strengths with BlackRock’s mission, principles, and purpose. The programme begins with an orientation that introduces the firm’s purpose, business, and strategic priorities, and gives participants a view of what an analyst’s day-to-day work is like. After that, analysts join their teams and continue developing through training and professional learning while staying connected with colleagues around the world.

What the programme involves

  • Starting with an onboarding and orientation experience that explains BlackRock’s purpose, business, and strategic priorities.
  • Learning what the analyst role looks like in practice before moving into team-based work.
  • Joining a team after orientation and contributing to its work over the course of the programme.
  • Remaining connected to colleagues across the globe through ongoing learning and development opportunities.
  • Using the programme as a platform to make a meaningful contribution to the firm’s wider goal of helping more people achieve financial well-being.

Application process

After submitting an application, candidates receive an email asking them to complete a pre-interview assessment. The assessment must be completed within five days of receipt. If it is not submitted in time, the application is automatically withdrawn. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so the company encourages candidates to apply as early as possible.

Eligibility and requirements

  • Candidates must be due to graduate with either a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree between June 2026 and July 2027.
  • Applicants from any academic discipline are welcome.
  • The programme is open to candidates who can meet the location-specific language expectations.
  • For roles in Continental Europe, local language fluency is required.
  • For Budapest, only English is required.
  • For positions in Private Markets Investing in Zurich, English is the only language requirement.
  • Candidates should be prepared for a programme that starts in August, although earlier start dates may be considered.
  • Applicants must be able to meet the relevant location deadline and complete the pre-interview assessment on time.

Locations and timing

The programme is available across a wide range of EMEA countries and cities, including Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. Listed cities include Amsterdam, Belgrade, Brussels, Budapest, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Dubai, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, Riyadh, Stockholm, and Zurich.

Application deadlines vary by location. The deadline for London, Edinburgh, Paris, and Zurich is 30 September 2026. Milan and Amsterdam close on 30 October 2026. Frankfurt, Munich, and Copenhagen close on 13 November 2026. Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, and Riyadh close on 31 January 2027.

BlackRock states that salary ranges for applicable business areas and locations are available in the EMEA 2027 Program Analyst Salary Ranges document, in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
