This role sits within Google Cloud’s Customer Experience organization and focuses on leading the regional execution of AI go-to-market strategy. The position is responsible for turning the global practice plan into effective regional action, coordinating across the teams that support enablement, marketing, partners, services, and other functions involved in bringing AI offerings to market. The successful candidate will act as the regional leader for the AI practice area and will be accountable for making sure the full end-to-end go-to-market plan is carried out effectively in the region.

What you will do

  • Bring together the work of multiple cross-functional teams to execute the regional AI plan, ensuring alignment between enablement, marketing, partner teams, services, and other stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Global Practice Lead and the Regional GTM Practice Leader to sharpen the go-to-market strategy and plan, using regional performance data and market feedback to guide improvements.
  • Increase field participation in GTM plays by driving adoption through enablement activities and keeping execution focused on progress toward financial objectives.
  • Measure and review the performance of GTM initiatives by tracking key metrics and success indicators, then translate those findings into insights for regional sales leaders and global practice leadership.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews for AI, presenting progress updates on GTM programs and helping maintain a continuous loop of feedback and adjustment.
  • Own the regional application of the AI practice plan and ensure that execution supports the broader business goals of the GTM organization.

What you need

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • At least 15 years of experience in consulting, business transformation, technology strategy, or another customer-facing role.
  • Direct experience delivering cloud adoption programs or cloud-driven digital innovation initiatives for enterprise organizations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Experience managing teams through sales operations and professional development processes, including account mapping, quota setting, quarterly and annual performance reviews, and handling sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to analyze data and turn it into practical insights that support decision-making.
  • Experience creating cloud business cases and total cost of ownership analyses that connect technology investment to business value measures.
  • Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to work across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and move talent and ideas between groups to achieve larger goals.
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in new and emerging cloud and IT technologies, methods, and solutions.
  • Advanced capability in owning outcomes, making decisions, solving ambiguous problems, and influencing stakeholders.
  • English fluency, since Google states that English proficiency is required for all roles unless the posting says otherwise.
  • Eligibility for candidates in protected categories under Law 68/99, with preferred location choices available in London, Madrid, Dublin, Warsaw, Stockholm, or Milan.

Compensation and package

Google lists country-specific pay ranges for this role, along with a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits. The posted ranges are: Spain €152,000 to €156,000; Ireland €182,000 to €187,000; Italy €160,000 to €164,000; Poland zł600,000 to zł615,000; and Sweden kr1,560,000 to kr1,600,000.
