This role sits within Googleâs gTech organization and focuses on technical consulting for the Apps and Gaming area. The position is centered on supporting major advertising customers and product partners by combining technical expertise, product understanding, and business awareness. The work involves helping external partners make the most of Googleâs advertising and partnership products, while also contributing insights back into product and go-to-market planning.
The role is aimed at someone who can work across teams, manage technical relationships, and help turn complex partner needs into scalable solutions. You will work with engineering, sales, product management, and other internal groups to design, test, analyze, and support solutions that serve Googleâs external clients and partners. The position also involves building tools, improving workflows, and helping shape product and partnership strategy through direct customer and market feedback.
What you will do
- Own the technical relationship with large advertising clients and/or product partners, acting as a trusted advisor on technical matters.
- Work across engineering, sales, and product management to apply emerging technologies in ways that support external partner needs.
- Guide technical work from early design and concept stages through testing, analysis, deployment support, and ongoing operational assistance.
- Help manage the technical execution and business operations connected to Googleâs online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
- Find ways to balance partner goals and business priorities with technical constraints, then turn those constraints into workable and innovative solutions.
- Develop tools and automation that improve products, streamline support, and make partnership operations more scalable.
- Contribute to product strategy by helping decide what should be prioritized and how resources should be allocated.
- Build strong knowledge of the mobile advertising ecosystem so you can design effective solutions and implementations for partners.
- Lead technical discussions with mobile app developers and align Googleâs product set with their business objectives to support growth and engagement over time.
- Handle technical escalations from internal business teams and customers, while also creating documentation, workflows, and tooling that improve support coverage across the EMEA region.
- Identify and roll out best practices that simplify business processes, speed up adoption of products, and create a repeatable model for partner success.
- Serve as a feedback channel between the market and product teams, helping influence strategy, design, and prioritization in partnership with Go-to-Market, Product Management, and Engineering.
What the role requires
- A bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
- Ability to read and write code in languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience in the mobile app space, either as an iOS or Android developer or through understanding of the mobile advertising business.
- Experience working with SQL.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams such as Product, Engineering, or Business to solve problems that are not clearly defined.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and practical way to non-technical stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, including experience resolving customer-facing issues in code or in broader system implementations.
- Comfort working in an early-career environment where you complete assigned work with direction while building knowledge alongside teammates.
- English proficiency, which Google states is required for all roles unless the posting says otherwise.
Compensation and benefits
- The posting lists salary ranges for two locations: â¬64,000 to â¬66,000 in France and â¬68,000 to â¬70,000 in Ireland.
- The package includes a 15% bonus target.
