As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you would act as a key technical contact for large clients and partners, helping shape solutions that fit both their business goals and the technical realities of Googleâs products. The work spans early solution design, testing, analysis, implementation support, and ongoing operational guidance. You would also help translate market needs into product feedback, influence priorities, and contribute to the development of tools and processes that make support more scalable across the region.
What you would do
- Develop deep knowledge of the mobile advertising ecosystem so you can design and implement effective technical solutions for partners.
- Lead technical conversations and engagements with mobile app developers, making sure Googleâs product set is aligned with their business objectives and growth plans.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for important advertising clients and/or product partners, maintaining strong working relationships over time.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to bring new technologies and ideas into partner-facing work.
- Guide solutions from concept through design, testing, analysis, and support, ensuring technical delivery is sound and business needs are met.
- Balance partner expectations with technical constraints and use that balance to create practical, forward-looking solutions.
- Build tools, automate workflows, and improve products so support can scale more effectively.
- Take ownership of technical execution and the business operations connected to Googleâs advertising platforms and partnership programs.
- Handle technical escalations from internal business teams and external customers, resolving issues quickly and thoroughly.
- Create documentation, workflows, and other support materials that help standardize and scale assistance across EMEA.
- Identify and apply best practices that improve business strategy, increase product adoption, and create a repeatable model for partner success.
- Act as a bridge between the market and product teams by feeding back customer and partner insights that help shape strategy, design, and prioritization.
- Work closely with Go-to-Market, Product Management, and Engineering to influence product direction and ensure partner needs are reflected in planning.
- Contribute to product strategy and help decide which projects and resources should be prioritized.
What the role is looking for
- A bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
- Ability to read and write code, with examples including Java, C++, or Python.
- Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience developing in the mobile app space, such as iOS or Android, or a strong understanding of the mobile advertising business.
- Experience using SQL.
- Experience working with Product, Engineering, or Business teams to solve problems that are not clearly defined.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, practical way to non-technical stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including experience diagnosing customer-facing issues either in code or in broader system implementations.
