  • Oversee a mix of routine team leadership, daily operational tasks, process improvement activity, and larger contingency-related responsibilities.
  • Serve as a mentor and positive example for new managers joining the organisation.
  • Work on a shift basis at an Amazon site, helping ensure the operation remains as productive and effective as possible.

What the role involves day to day

The position is based on a shift pattern at one of Amazon’s sites. Your main focus will be to drive safety, maintain quality standards, and support strong shift performance. You will also be expected to lead process improvements in your area and help put those changes into practice. What Amazon is looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or a related subject.
  • Experience managing people.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders or leaders.
  • Experience using data to shape decisions and guide business actions.
  • Strong written and spoken English for business settings.
  • Preferred knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen approaches.
  • Preferred experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar environment.
