Partner Solution Architect, Regional System Integrators Overview

Company Name Google
Job Role Partner Solution Architect, Regional System Integrators
Qualifications Bachelor’s
Category General Jobs
Job Type Full Time
Location London

This role sits within Google Cloud and focuses on helping regional system integrators and strategic partners across EMEA design and deliver strong pre-sales solutions. The position is centered on partner enablement, technical advisory, and solution design rather than post-sales implementation. You will act as a key technical resource for the partner ecosystem, helping partners move opportunities forward, strengthen their delivery capability, and build repeatable approaches that support customer adoption of Google Cloud.

In this role, you will work closely with Google Cloud account customer engineers and partner development managers to shape partner strategy and execution. The account customer engineer owns the direct customer relationship and overall customer strategy, while you are responsible for the partner’s technical readiness and ability to deliver successfully. The work is intentionally separated from global system integrator engagements and is focused on the regional partner landscape. You will need to move between broad advisory work and deeper technical execution in areas such as AI, data, or infrastructure, depending on where the pre-sales need is strongest.

What you will do

  • Serve as the main pre-sales solution design authority for priority regional system integrators and strategic partners across EMEA.
  • Act as the technical counterpart to Google Cloud customer engineers, helping partners build the capability needed to deliver customer solutions successfully.
  • Switch between regional advisory work and hands-on domain-specific support in AI, data, or infrastructure to close pre-sales gaps.
  • Keep the role firmly focused on pre-sales and avoid taking ownership of post-sales delivery work.
  • Work with partner development managers in your sub-region to create, run, and execute joint business plans that prioritize the most valuable partner opportunities.
  • Lead high-value enablement events such as VIP bootcamps, red-carpet sessions, and hackathons to shorten sales cycles and support a smooth route to consumption.
  • Provide targeted architectural support for regional system integrators and strategic partners in the South, helping resolve complex deal issues and tailor partner activation.
  • Review and validate the most important statements of work so they align with a clear path to production and support strong return on partner funding.
  • Create reusable enterprise assets, including practical AI demonstrations, that can be used repeatedly across the region.
  • Run in-depth technical sessions and hackathons for the regional partner technical community to scale enablement across many partners at once.
  • Help build, operate, and maintain the EMEA partner technical community.
  • Identify opportunities to expand partner accounts and influence technical audiences within the partner ecosystem.
  • Work across teams to position and coordinate solutions that may combine multiple Google Cloud products.
  • Support partner-led deals in a way that improves velocity and avoids delivery escalations.

What you need

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least six years of experience in cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience with public cloud architecture, including compute, networking, identity and access management, and microservices.
  • Experience with pre-sales acceleration, technical proof-of-concept work, and leading technical workshops.
  • Deep expertise in at least one major domain, such as AI, data, or infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology buying and evaluation processes.
  • The ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and to challenge partner delivery strategies when needed.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Google Cloud platform customer engineers to deliver coordinated solutions.
  • Ability to influence partner technical stakeholders, identify growth opportunities, and keep partner-led delivery engagements moving without escalations.
  • Mid-level experience, with the ability to drive progress, solve problems, and mentor more junior team members.
  • Strong English proficiency, since Google states that English is required for all roles unless the posting says otherwise.
  • Comfort working in a role that is tightly focused on partner pre-sales and technical enablement in the London, UK market.

What the role offers

  • The chance to help organizations transform using Google Cloud technology.
  • Work in an entrepreneurial environment within a rapidly growing business area.
  • Exposure to enterprise-grade products designed for security, reliability, and scalability across the full technology stack.
  • Opportunity to support customers and partners in more than 200 countries and territories.
  • The ability to shape how businesses use technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners.
  • Involvement in building and strengthening the EMEA partner technical community.
  • Access to Google’s equal opportunity employment framework and accommodation process for applicants who need support during hiring.
