What you would do
- Design and deliver automation solutions powered by AI to streamline operational processes and improve execution.
- Build machine learning models that support predictive analysis and smarter forecasting.
- Create decision-support tools that can be used across the network to guide operational choices.
- Develop workflows that reduce manual intervention while improving consistency and accuracy.
- Work with Data Science teams to move AI and machine learning solutions into live production use.

- Run diagnostic analysis to uncover inefficiencies and identify where automation can add value.
- Combine business rules with technical automation to produce practical process improvements.
- Analyze large and complex datasets using advanced analytical methods and AI techniques to generate useful insights.
- Partner with stakeholders to convert business needs into technical automation requirements and solutions.
- Improve routine operational tasks through process redesign and intelligent automation.
- Track and interpret key performance indicators using predictive methods to highlight trends and emerging issues.
- Use SQL, Python, or R to develop scalable analytical and automation solutions.
- Build dashboards with automated alerts and anomaly detection so teams can respond quickly to issues.
- Create automated data pipelines and ETL processes that support timely, real-time insight generation.
- Document repeatable analytical workflows and automation processes so they can be reused and scaled.
- Implement monitoring and validation controls to maintain data quality.
- Deploy code and automation solutions in line with software engineering best practices.
- Take ownership of AI and automation projects from initial idea through deployment and broader rollout.
- Make solution design decisions that balance business needs, technical feasibility, speed, quality, scalability, and available resources.
- Contribute both tactical and strategic thinking to prioritization and to the design of longer-term automation approaches.
- Work across Operations, Engineering, Data Science, and other technical groups to deliver shared outcomes.
- Explain technical concepts clearly to business audiences and help technical teams understand operational context.
- Present recommendations and solution proposals to leadership.
- Influence cross-functional partners to adopt automated approaches and work toward common goals.
- Share knowledge and support colleagues by mentoring them on both operational and technical aspects of the work.

- A track record of delivering technical solutions that address business needs.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort working through complex operational challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across both business and technical audiences.
- Interest in AI-driven process improvement and in applying emerging technologies to operational problems.
- Ability to combine short-term delivery with longer-term strategic thinking.
