This is a senior, highly strategic Google Cloud partner architecture role focused on acting as a technical and business advisor for priority global systems integrators across EMEA. The position combines enterprise architecture leadership, executive-level partner engagement, and commercial influence. In practice, you will serve as a Google Cloud CTO-style counterpart for one or more major GSIs, helping shape their long-term technology direction, align technical strategy with business goals, and drive joint execution across multiple countries and sub-regions.

The role sits at the intersection of cloud architecture, partner strategy, and enterprise transformation. You will work closely with partner CTOs, lead architects, and practice leaders to build trusted relationships, secure multi-year technology commitments, and position Google Cloud as a core part of the partner’s solution strategy. You will also collaborate heavily with Google Cloud Platform customer engineers, principal architects, product management, and technical teams to create reusable enterprise assets and support the most important partner opportunities.

What you will do

  • Build and sustain trusted advisory relationships with priority GSIs across EMEA, engaging directly with their CTOs, lead architects, and practice leaders to win long-term technology commitments with Google Cloud.
  • Bring strong public cloud and enterprise technology expertise to partner discussions, and represent Google Cloud effectively in conferences, online forums, and other external settings.
  • Advise on integration approaches, partner-side enterprise architecture, platform choices, and application infrastructure needed to deliver complete solutions for complex, large-scale GSI agreements.
  • Own the broader enterprise architecture relationship with GSI partners by working with Google Cloud customer engineers, principal architects, product managers, and technical specialists to co-develop large, reusable enterprise-grade assets.
  • Serve as the technical approval point for the most strategic Gemini Enterprise AI funding opportunities.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other relevant events as required, with travel averaging roughly 50%.
  • Lead the conversation and execution of the joint business plan for priority GSIs by combining technical leadership with commercial insight in a partner CTO capacity.
  • Work with the EMEA partner development manager to communicate the full value of technical solutions and drive effective engagements across EMEA regions and countries.

What the role requires

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, another relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or in a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience with cloud market analysis and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
  • Experience presenting to and working with both technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Practical knowledge of modern AI approaches, generative AI, and data technologies, including the ability to evaluate technical solutions.
  • Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to deliver outcomes, make decisions, solve unclear problems, and influence stakeholders while applying deep expertise in the domain.
  • Experience using structured enterprise architecture practices, working in hybrid cloud environments, and planning migrations from on-premises systems to cloud deployments.
  • Ability to understand industry-specific technology solutions and quickly adapt to new technologies, methods, and cloud/IT offerings.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, combine multiple products into a single solution, and deliver measurable results.
  • Ability to influence audiences, identify expansion opportunities in accounts, and drive growth conversations with partners and GSIs.
  • Ability to help move major GSI-led agreements forward efficiently while avoiding partner-delivery escalations.
  • English proficiency is required unless the posting explicitly says otherwise, because the company operates globally and relies on effective cross-regional communication.
