This role is part of Google’s product management organization and focuses on growth for Fitbit subscription products. The position is based in London, UK, and sits within the Health Platforms and Devices team, which builds consumer health products and services designed to help people live healthier, longer lives. The work is centered on full-funnel growth, from onboarding and feature discovery through retention and ongoing engagement. You will use your understanding of growth funnels and the key points that influence user behavior to shape product direction and design.

What you will do

  • Set a clear growth objective for subscription adoption and translate that objective into a practical plan.
  • Own and evolve a roadmap of growth and engagement initiatives, including app onboarding, discovery of product features, monetization or business generation efforts, experimentation, and analytics.
  • Identify new opportunities to reach additional users and improve retention among existing subscribers, including evaluating new business models and distribution or acquisition channels.
  • Work in close partnership with engineering, UX, research, marketing, and data science teams to deliver roadmap priorities on time and with strong quality.
  • Lead a product management team by building capability, encouraging collaboration, and promoting a culture of innovation and high standards.
  • Coach and mentor team members, and take responsibility for their development and performance management.

What you need

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in product management or a similar technical role.
  • At least 5 years of experience taking technical products from early idea through launch, including zero-to-one product development.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing people, with technical leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience working on consumer-facing mobile apps, subscription-based offerings, and growth across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to own outcomes, make decisions, solve ambiguous problems, and influence stakeholders in a complex environment.

  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and interest in bringing accessibility into product development methods.
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing in a disciplined and organized way.
  • Strong intuition for user experience and the ability to build products that feel intuitive and easy to use.
