This role sits within Googleâs technical solutions organization and focuses on supporting advertising clients and product partners in the mobile app and gaming space. The work centers on combining technical expertise, product understanding, and customer-facing problem solving to help partners get the most value from Googleâs advertising platforms and related products. The position is part of the broader gTech function, which is described as a team of trusted advisors that helps bring Google products to life for customers around the world.
You will act as a technical partner for major advertising customers and/or product partners, helping shape solutions that fit their business goals while respecting technical limitations. The role involves working across Engineering, Sales, Product Management, and Go-to-Market teams to design, test, analyze, and support solutions from early concept through delivery. In addition to solving immediate technical issues, you will also help build scalable tools, automate processes, improve workflows, and influence product direction based on what you learn from the market.
What you will do
- Develop strong knowledge of the mobile advertising ecosystem and use that understanding to design technical solutions and implementations for partners.
- Work directly with mobile app developers to align Googleâs product set with their business objectives and support durable growth and engagement.
- Lead technical discussions and engagements across internal and external stakeholders, coordinating with Engineering, Sales, Product Management, and Go-to-Market teams.
- Investigate and resolve technical escalations raised by customers or business teams, and create documentation, tools, and workflows that make support easier to scale across EMEA.
- Find and apply best practices that simplify business execution, speed up adoption of products, and create a repeatable model for partner success.
- Act as a bridge between the market and product teams by sharing feedback that helps shape strategy, design decisions, and prioritization.
- Balance partner needs, business goals, and technical constraints while proposing creative solutions and serving as a trusted advisor.
- Contribute to product strategy, prioritize work and resources, and help automate or build tools that improve operational efficiency.
What you need
- A bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
- Ability to read and write code in at least one common language such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Practical experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Preferred background in mobile app development for iOS or Android, or familiarity with the mobile ad business generation industry.
- Preferred experience working with SQL.
- Preferred experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, or Business teams to solve problems that are not clearly defined.
- Preferred ability to explain technical concepts in a clear way for non-technical stakeholders and external partners.
- Preferred strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including experience diagnosing customer issues in code or in larger system implementations.
- Because this is an early-experience role, the ideal candidate should be comfortable completing assigned work, collaborating closely with teammates, and continuing to build knowledge of the relevant domain and processes.
- English proficiency is required for all roles unless the posting explicitly says otherwise.
