What the role looks like day to day
You would be working on a shift pattern at one of Amazon’s sites, with the goal of making the operation as productive and effective as possible. The role is hands-on and varied, combining people leadership with operational control and continuous improvement. The environment is highly operational and, in many locations, runs around the clock. Amazon describes the team as people-focused and supportive, with particular attention to colleagues who work overnight. The role is part of a wider logistics network that also includes delivery contractors and new delivery concepts, and it contributes to ongoing efforts to improve customer experience and reduce environmental impact through innovation, including the use of electric vehicles and other technology.
