What you will do
- Develop and maintain client-side libraries and frameworks that allow services to add security logging with minimal effort from application teams.
- Design, build, and operate large-scale distributed streaming platforms that collect, normalize, and deliver security events reliably and efficiently.
- Create and refine event schemas so they provide the right level of security coverage while remaining practical for producers to adopt.
- Build monitoring and detection tooling for AI and machine learning workloads in a fast-evolving environment.
- Deliver high-quality production software, using automated testing, continuous deployment, and strong observability practices as part of normal engineering work.
- Join an on-call rotation to investigate incidents, diagnose operational issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Help grow the team by reviewing code, contributing to design discussions, and sharing technical knowledge with colleagues.

What you need
- Prior professional software development experience outside of internships.
- Strong programming ability in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, with object-oriented design experience.
- Experience working through the full software development lifecycle, including standards, reviews, source control, build pipelines, testing, and operational responsibilities.
- Experience shaping the architecture and design of systems, including attention to design patterns, reliability, and scalability for both new and existing platforms.
- A computer science degree or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Experience in cloud-based development and production environments, such as AWS, is also desirable.
