What you will do
- Shape the approach for adding new AI-oriented partners to the portfolio and help accelerate their adoption of Google Cloud.
- Work closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams to build strong alignment with partner executives.
- Develop shared innovation plans with partners for new solutions and offerings.
- Coordinate the joint selling motion between Google Cloud and partner sales organizations.
- Oversee the daily planning of scarce, high-value partner Forward Deployed Engineer resources so they are assigned to the right customer accounts.
- Monitor partner engagement activity, staffing plans, and delivery progress to keep both sales and delivery execution on track.
- Help partner teams that are working directly inside enterprise accounts, including support for complex customer environments and the integration of multi-agent orchestration with legacy databases and hybrid infrastructure.
- Drive commercial execution that improves customer time to value and return on investment, supports partner growth, and increases Google Cloud platform usage.
- Act as a central connection point between partner engineers, Google Cloud sales teams, and technical leaders by gathering feedback from the field, identifying technical issues, and relaying those insights to internal cloud AI product and engineering teams.
What the role requires
- A bachelorâs degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Fifteen or more years of experience in partner management, business development, sales, or channel development in the technology industry.
- Experience contributing to or coordinating AI/ML transformation programs using an embedded delivery or forward-deployed model.
- Strong ownership, decision-making ability, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to influence stakeholders at a senior level.
- Experience launching partner products and solutions, including complex routes to market such as multi-partner solutions, cloud marketplace procurement, and consumption-based commercial models.
- Experience developing and expanding technology partnerships while collaborating across internal and external cross-functional teams.
- Experience operating at both strategic and operational levels when planning and managing work.
- Experience working with C-level executives at partner organizations and serving as a trusted advisor.
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud AI products including Vertex AI, Gemini, and ADK.
- Familiarity with modern multi-agent systems such as LangGraph and CrewAI, plus coding agents and open-source developer tool harnesses.
- English fluency, since Google notes that English proficiency is required for roles unless the posting says otherwise.
