You would be part of a team that works closely with partners across the business to help ensure decisions are grounded in sound financial judgment.

In this finance role, you would help the business understand performance, manage risk, and make informed choices as it develops and scales.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Sales, CBM, and Operations teams to assess the financial structure and risk considerations of retail and carrier agreements, including reviewing contract language and helping shape pricing and promotional approaches.
  • Take ownership of important finance processes, improving the efficiency of reporting, monthly forecasting, accrual work, budget administration, and financial planning by using Google’s data infrastructure and technical systems such as dashboards, SQL, and SAP.
  • Analyze performance across countries, partners, and campaigns to identify trends, surface insights, and provide recommendations that support business decisions and future strategy.
  • Create tools and data structures that help communicate spending, activity, and effectiveness across initiatives to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership, in a straightforward and efficient way.
  • Work with controllership to ensure the right governance framework and operating controls are in place so the business can operate within clear guardrails.

What you need

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative subject, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least two years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related finance function, or an advanced degree.
  • Hands-on experience delivering full-cycle FP&A work in a multinational company, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Experience using programming or query tools, including SQL.
  • Background in building financial reporting, producing analysis, creating scalable monitoring, and implementing reporting solutions.
  • Experience developing strategy in fast-paced and competitive environments, with strong judgment around how to allocate resources to achieve the best business result.
  • Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influence decisions through quantitative evidence, and generate meaningful insights.
  • English fluency is required for all roles at Google unless the posting explicitly says otherwise.

Additional context

You would be joining the EMEA Devices and Services Finance team and working closely with EMEA Partnerships, Product, Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams. The role offers the chance to build a broad understanding of an emerging product business and the ecosystem around it, while helping shape strategic direction through financial insight and disciplined decision-making.
