In this position, you will help build and improve the analytical foundations that support decision-making across EU supply chain operations. The role can be based in either London or Luxembourg, and it sits within Amazon’s EU offices.
You will be part of the BI function inside RSI, which supports the broader mission of making EU retail inbound more cost-efficient and more supportive of selling partners. The team’s analytics work underpins dashboards, financial reporting, and data products used by more than 4,000 users across the EU stores organization.
What you will do
- Develop, refine, automate, and manage analytical models that help drive decisions across the EU supply chain.
- Create and support data pipelines, data models, and dashboards that are used by a range of stakeholders across the business.
- Convert complex data into clear, practical insights and communicate those findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Use data analysis to challenge assumptions in a constructive way and help teams make better-informed decisions.
- Look for opportunities to simplify processes and automate repetitive work, with an emphasis on solutions that remain useful over the long term.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines and analytical models that support supply chain reporting and analysis for the EU region.
- Produce dashboards and reporting outputs for retail stakeholders while ensuring the information is accurate and delivered on time.
- Carry out detailed analysis of supply chain metrics to uncover root causes and recommend actions.
- Automate recurring reporting tasks and data-quality checks to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
- Work closely with senior business intelligence engineers and product managers to turn business questions into analytical solutions.
- Document data sources, analytical methods, and assumptions so that business users can access information more independently.
- Help shape the evolution of the team’s analytics approach, including the move toward AI-powered, conversational data experiences that are intended to replace traditional dashboards.

- A strong foundation in data mining, modelling, and quantitative analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets, either in a professional setting or through academic projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain the meaning and implications of data clearly.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive attitude toward asking questions to define the problem properly.
- A collaborative mindset, along with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning from experienced teammates.
Required experience and skills
- Experience analysing and interpreting data using platforms such as Redshift, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
- Experience creating visualisations with Tableau, QuickSight, or comparable tools.

- Experience using a scripting language such as Python, Java, or R.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Professional experience in the data or business intelligence space.
Preferred background

- Knowledge of data modelling and data pipeline design is preferred.
- Experience with statistical analysis and correlation analysis is preferred.
