What you will do
- Lead technical thinking around the future of Armâs Mali graphics architecture and help define the direction of the product line.
- Design and evolve graphics architecture for the latest graphics APIs so it can support both new and existing markets.
- Steer the architecture toward the demands of future content and workloads.
- Carry out detailed performance modeling and analysis across graphics hardware features, applications, benchmarks, and games.
- Build and improve tools used for architectural exploration and performance investigation.
- Evaluate system-level trade-offs across hardware, memory systems, and system software.
- Work closely with Armâs engineering teams to ensure architectural ideas are implemented in products.
- Contribute to technology research, hands-on prototyping, and experimental studies where needed.
- Participate in relevant industry consortiums and engage with external technical communities.
- Collaborate with product teams, partners, and customers to validate and refine technical direction.

What Arm is looking for
- A bachelorâs degree in electrical engineering or computer science is required; a masterâs degree or PhD in one of those fields is preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in computer graphics, or an equivalent level of relevant experience.
- Deep knowledge of computer graphics and GPU architecture.
- A strong record of creative thinking and effective communication in a global team environment.
- A working style that is practical, structured, and analytical.
- The ability to assess and balance power, performance, and area trade-offs to meet product requirements.
- Strong programming capability in C, C++, and scripting languages.
- Good familiarity with graphics and compute APIs such as OpenGL, OpenCL, and DirectX.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with a self-driven and outcome-focused approach.
Preferred background
- Experience leading architecture development with attention to performance, power, area, and bandwidth optimization.
- Experience with performance modeling at the micro-architecture level.
- Experience with RTL design for GPUs.
