The position is for a Strategy and Operations Principal Lead focused on gTech Ads Programs and go-to-market operations. It is intended for someone who can operate at a senior level, bring structure to ambiguous problems, and help guide global strategy through strong analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and operational leadership.
What you will do
- Partner with senior leadership to shape and drive major global initiatives that improve decision-making through collaboration across functions and teams.
- Translate complex, ambiguous operational goals into clear plans and lead end-to-end execution for projects that span global service and operations organizations.
- Perform rigorous business analysis and use data-backed insights to identify opportunities that improve service delivery and organizational efficiency.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for advertising services, adjusting approaches to reflect regional priorities and the needs of different account segments.
- Test, refine, and scale customer segmentation and resource-allocation approaches for strategic enterprise accounts, then turn successful pilots into global operating frameworks.
What the role requires
- A bachelorâs degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory; candidates with an advanced degree may qualify with 6 years of experience in those fields.
- Proven experience owning outcomes, making decisions, solving unclear problems, and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong capability in project or program management, process improvement, and business analysis.
- Experience working with executive stakeholders, leading strategic initiatives at the organization level, and managing business operations.
- Background in handling major strategic and operational projects across advertising-related business areas.
- Deep expertise in the relevant domain and the ability to operate with a high level of strategic judgment.
- Comfort working in a global, cross-functional environment and communicating effectively in English.

Compensation and benefits
- Ireland pay range: â¬148,000 to â¬152,000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- US pay range: $186,000 to $270,000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Access to Google benefits, with equity granted separately and subject to Alphabetâs terms and approval process.
