This is a two-year full-time analyst programme across the EMEA region, designed for early-career candidates who want to begin their careers at BlackRock and contribute to the firmâs mission. The programme is built to help analysts connect their own interests and strengths with the organisationâs purpose, while gaining practical exposure to the business and developing professionally in a global environment.
Programme overview
The experience begins with an orientation that introduces the companyâs purpose, business, and strategic priorities. It also gives participants insight into what the day-to-day work of an analyst at BlackRock looks like. After that, analysts move into their teams and continue to learn through structured training and professional development, while staying connected with colleagues across the world.
The programme is intended to give participants a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the firm and support its wider goal of helping more people achieve financial well-being.
What you will do
- Join a two-year analyst programme and take part in the full early-career development experience from orientation through to team placement.
- Learn about BlackRockâs purpose, business model, and strategic priorities during the initial onboarding period.
- Gain a realistic understanding of the responsibilities and pace of an analyst role through exposure to day-to-day work.
- Move into an assigned team after orientation and contribute to the work of that group.
- Continue developing through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Build relationships with colleagues across different regions and stay connected to the wider organisation.
- Support the firmâs broader mission of improving financial well-being for more people.
- Complete the required pre-interview assessment within five days of receiving it after submitting an application.
Who can apply
- Candidates must be due to graduate with either a bachelorâs degree or a masterâs degree between June 2026 and July 2027.
- Applicants from any degree discipline are welcome; the programme is not limited to a specific subject area.
- The expected start month is August, although the company may consider earlier start dates.
- For roles based in Continental Europe, applicants need to have local language fluency.
- For Budapest, only English is required.
- For positions in Private Markets Investing in Zurich, only English is required.
- Applicants should be able to meet the relevant location deadline and should apply early because applications are reviewed as they come in.
Application process and deadlines
After submitting an application, candidates receive an email asking them to complete a pre-interview assessment. This assessment must be finished within five days, otherwise the application is automatically withdrawn.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The listed deadlines are 30 September 2026 for London, Edinburgh, Paris, and Zurich; 30 October 2026 for Milan and Amsterdam; 13 November 2026 for Frankfurt, Munich, and Copenhagen; and 31 January 2027 for Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, and Riyadh.
