The position sits within the Asia International team in London, which supports clients in Asia as they carry out work focused on the US market. In this role, you would help connect clients with the expert knowledge they need, while also building cross-cultural communication skills and using additional languages in a business setting.
What you would do
- Serve as the key link between clients and experts, helping projects move smoothly from initial outreach through to completed conversations.
- Handle several assignments at once for clients such as investors, strategists, and dealmakers at leading firms, keeping each project moving in parallel.
- Spend much of your day speaking by phone with experts who are highly relevant to a clientâs needs, often under significant time pressure.
- Find and recruit US-based experts who are a strong fit for the clientâs project requirements.
- Work with colleagues in Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, and Shanghai who co-lead the teamâs client engagements.
- Manage the full coordination process for expert calls, including communication between clients and experts and the scheduling needed to make those calls happen efficiently.
- Develop a solid understanding of the projectâs commercial background, the market context, and the legal and regulatory setting that applies to both clients and experts.
- Take responsibility for every part of your assigned projects and ensure that the work is delivered successfully.
- Operate in a role that is highly communication-driven, fast paced, and requires you to balance multiple workstreams at the same time.
What the role is designed to help you build
- Exposure to the business world without being limited to one industry or profession.
- Transferable commercial and client-management capabilities.
- Skills in professional communication, negotiation, persuasion, project management, and time management.
- A clear route for advancement, with the possibility of promotion to Manager after roughly 24 to 30 months and to Vice President after around five years.
- Potential access to AlphaSightsâ MBA Tuition Program after successful completion of the Associate Program, which can provide financial support toward tuition at some of the worldâs leading business schools.
What AlphaSights is looking for
- A strong academic background, including an undergraduate degree at 2:1 level or above, or an equivalent result.

- Relevant internship experience.
- Fluency in English and Hindi, or Hindi at C2 level.
- The ability to thrive in a results-focused, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
- A client-first attitude and the resilience to keep performing in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- Grit, persistence, and a willingness to get stuck in and make things happen.
- For the application, candidates must have at least one degree that was taught entirely in English, and they may be asked to provide evidence of this.
- Applicants are also asked to provide information about their language fluency, any additional native-level languages, degree subject area, university, graduation year, final grade or GPA, and up to three extracurricular activities lasting at least one year.
Pay and benefits
- Expected first-year total compensation of between £48,500 and £57,500 for average to strong performance.
- A base salary of £41,500 per year.
- Uncapped variable compensation linked to individual performance.
- Employer pension matching at 4% of qualifying earnings.
- Private health insurance and dental insurance.
- 25 days of holiday, in addition to bank holidays and the office closure period between Christmas and New Year.
- Central London offices.
- Subsidised lunch, plus complimentary breakfast, snacks, and fruit during the day.
- The ability to work from home on Fridays.
- Reasonable adjustments during the interview process for candidates who need support.
