Company Name Alphasights
Job Role Associate, Client Service, Italian Speaker, 2027
Qualifications Bachelor’s (with 2:1)
Category Customer Service Jobs
Job Type Full Time
Location London

This Associate role sits within AlphaSights’ Client Service team in London and is designed for graduates who want to begin a career in a fast-moving commercial environment where they can make an immediate impact and follow a defined path for progression. The position places you at the centre of the company’s service model, connecting clients with specialist expertise and helping them make better decisions through high-quality expert conversations.

AlphaSights works with ambitious clients around the world, including leading investment funds, strategy consultancies, and large global corporations. The business focuses on helping these clients access niche knowledge by matching them with experts across industries and markets. The company has grown significantly since its founding in 2008 and now operates with thousands of employees across multiple global cities, combining strong client service with proprietary technology to stay competitive.

What you will do

  • Act as the key link between clients and experts, making sure client requests are translated into strong expert matches.
  • Own the full communication process between clients and experts, from initial outreach through screening and negotiation to final matching.
  • Spend a substantial part of your day speaking with experts by phone to assess fit and secure the best possible options for client projects.
  • Manage several assignments at once for investors, strategists, and dealmakers at top-tier client organizations.
  • Work across parallel workstreams in a role that is highly communication-driven and requires strong multitasking.
  • Use AI-supported sourcing tools to map complicated industry ecosystems and identify relevant specialists.
  • Engage and build rapport with experts who can provide the insight needed for each project.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the commercial context of each request, including the market environment and the legal and regulatory considerations affecting clients and experts.
  • Deliver work in a deadline-sensitive setting where speed, accuracy, and judgment matter.

What the role is like

The company describes the role as a demanding but rewarding introduction to the business world. It is intended for people who want broad commercial exposure rather than being narrowed into a single industry or profession. The work is meant to build transferable skills in professional communication, negotiation, persuasion, project management, and time management.

Success in the program is also tied to career development. AlphaSights says the role offers a clear route to promotion, with advancement to Manager typically after 24 to 30 months and to Vice President after roughly five years. Completing the Associate Program may also make you eligible for the MBA Tuition Program, which can provide financial support toward tuition at selected leading business schools.

What they are looking for

  • A strong academic background, normally shown by an undergraduate degree at 2:1 level or above.
  • Evidence of achievement beyond academics, such as meaningful extracurricular involvement during school or university.
  • Prior internship experience that is relevant to a professional environment.
  • Excellent English and Italian language ability, with Italian required at native or C2 level.
  • Experience living or working in continental Europe is preferred.
  • People who thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting.
  • A client-focused mindset and the ability to keep the client’s needs at the centre of your work.
  • Comfort working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Resilience, initiative, and a willingness to do hands-on work to get things done.
  • Interest in learning new tools and workflows, including AI-enabled systems, to improve output.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-management skills.
  • Good project and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation and benefits

The expected first-year total pay is between £48,500 and £57,500 for average to high performance. This package includes a base salary of £41,500 plus uncapped variable compensation tied to individual performance.

  • 4% matched pension contribution on eligible earnings.
  • Private health insurance and dental insurance.
  • 25 days of holiday, in addition to bank holidays and the office closure period over Christmas and New Year.
  • A modern office in central London.
  • Subsidised lunch.
  • Free breakfast, snacks, and fruit available throughout the day.
  • The ability to work from home on Fridays.
  • Support for career progression through a structured promotion path.
  • Potential access to MBA tuition funding after successful completion of the program.

Working arrangement

The role is based in AlphaSights’ central London office. The posting also states that employees can work from home on Fridays, so the arrangement is office-based with a regular weekly remote day.

Visa sponsorship

AlphaSights states that it holds a visa sponsorship licence and welcomes applications from candidates who need sponsorship. The company says applicants should discuss sponsorship needs openly with the recruiter during the process, and that this will not affect hiring decisions.

AlphaSights describes itself as an equal opportunity employer. Candidates who need reasonable adjustments during the interview process can contact the company by email for support. The application form asks for standard recruitment details such as contact information, CV, cover letter, preferred start date, language fluency level, degree background, graduation year, grade, extracurricular activities, and whether the applicant currently needs or may need a UK work visa.
