Corporate & Strategic – Business Management & Governance – 2027 Summer Internship Program Overview

Company Name Blackrock
Job Role Corporate & Strategic – Business Management & Governance – 2027 Summer Internship Program
Qualifications Bachelor’s
Category Finance Jobs
Job Type Internship
Location London

This summer internship programme is an eight-week experience running from June through August across the EMEA region. It is built to give students a demanding, meaningful, and well-supported internship that is intended to reflect, as closely as possible, what it is like to work as a full-time BlackRock analyst. Interns begin with an orientation that introduces the firm in depth and includes the chance to hear from senior leaders. After that, they receive practical training on the job and are assigned real day-to-day work so they can contribute to their teams throughout the summer.

The programme also includes wider development opportunities beyond the core work experience. Interns can take part in a speaker series, receive mentoring, and join networking activities, including events connected to employee networks. The internship is designed not only to provide exposure to the business, but also to help students build relationships, learn from experienced professionals, and understand how the firm operates.

What the internship involves

  • Joining an eight-week summer programme from June to August.
  • Experiencing a structure that is meant to closely resemble the role of a full-time analyst at BlackRock.
  • Starting with an orientation that explains the firm and gives access to senior leadership perspectives.
  • Receiving on-the-job training and handling everyday responsibilities that support the team’s work.
  • Taking part in speaker sessions, mentoring, and networking opportunities during the internship.
  • Engaging with employee networks and other relationship-building activities.
  • Exploring the possibility of moving on to the Full-Time Analyst Programme after the internship, if the experience is a strong fit.
