| Job Type | Internship |
| Location | Edinburgh |
This summer internship programme is an eight-week experience running from June through August and is built to give students a demanding, meaningful, and well-supported introduction to life at BlackRock. The structure is intended to reflect, as closely as possible, what it is like to work as a full-time analyst at the firm. Interns begin with an orientation that provides a broad introduction to the organisation and includes the chance to hear from senior leaders. After that, they receive practical training on the job and are trusted with everyday responsibilities that allow them to make a real contribution to their teams over the course of the summer.
The programme also includes a wider set of development and networking activities. These include speaker sessions, mentoring, and opportunities to build connections across the firm, including events with employee networks. For students who find the experience appealing, the internship is also positioned as a possible stepping stone toward BlackRockâs Full-Time Analyst Programme, which may be an option to pursue after the internship ends.
